Dr. Tim Caufield: My experience enables me to offer effective outpatient, individualized, psychological care. I treat a number of mental health disorders, and provide a safe, non-judgmental place for individuals, families, and couples to address life problems. My background as a child psychologist provides an "edge" for dealing with learning and school related issues, from early childhood though college and adult learning.

We can help you overcome these symptoms and guide you through the process of grief and healing. Dr. Caufield, a former Emergency Medical Technician, and trained maritime firefighter, has on-the-job exerience in emergecy services to draw upon when working with people who have experienced tramatic events.
Dr. Caufield uses active, cognitive therapy techniques to manage anger more effectively, and to prevent anger from leading to further life problems between self and others. Both adults as well as children and teenagers can benefit from these methods.
Dr. Caufield utilizes SMART Recovery© - informed treatment of substance abuse and other addictive behaviors, either along with or as an alternative approach compared to traditional 12-Step programs.
